A little about us...

As the owner of Extreme Reptiles, with over 20 years of experience I've worked with reptiles from all over the world. I have experience with everything from cobras to crocodiles! It's been a personal goal of mine to educate the public of these misunderstood creatures.  My fascination for reptiles started as a teenager with a ball python.  My hobby grew from reptiles such as pythons to some of the worlds deadliest snakes. Over the years I have worked with cobras, mambas, tiapans, death adders, gaboon vipers and so on!  I have also successfully bred many of these species. 

    This has been a family based business since 1991. My first experience working with the public was performing educational programs for schools ranging from elementary to high school. I then opened my own exotic pet store specializing in reptiles.  After a few years I decided to close the store to pursue my career on the road!  Since then, I have had the opportunity to travel throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland and Kentucky.  Over the years I have had the chance to meet a lot of interesting people and make life long friends.  

    My knowledgeable staff has vast experience working with reptiles in all aspects. They are experienced in the husbandry and captive breeding of common and endangered species. We also rescue and rehabilitate homeless and injured reptiles.  Our main goal is to educate the public (especially kids!) about these amazing but often misunderstood creatures.
